When I say Original, I certainly have the story to back it up. Created in Czechoslovakia by Dr. Martin Gondos Weiss in 1944 as a medicinal herbal pack, with 31 Organic Herb's & Spices, carefully selected for their therapeutic benefits. Recreated in 1989 with 27 herbs & spices from his genuine recipe, this pillow will help with relaxation, headaches, tight stressed shoulders, Sinus and Migraine headaches, and will aid in a good night sleep. Moist heat and gentle acupressure  makes it easer for the herbs to penetrate into muscles and joints.

Instructions: Place your pillow in a plastic bag and in the microwave for 3 minutes. Check the temperature with the inside part of your wrist. Reheat at intervals of 1 minute, until you achieve the warmth that is comfortable to place on your skin. For hip pain, you may cradle the u shaped pillow around your waist so it rests on your hip. For Sciatic pain you can also sit on the pillow. For cold therapy, place pillow in a plastic bag in the FREEZER for about 1 hr. This is great for people that suffer from migraines.

Dr. Gondos most notable instructions:

1.- Avoid pesticides at all costs. If you breathe them in, it will slowly poison you. 

2.- The natural weight of the pillow, was of extreme importances. “Natural Acupressure”, plus moist heat, plus healing herbs.  

3.- NEVER use rice, corn or buckwheat as your filler or weight vessel. Instead use a valuable spice that is able  to hold moisture and fantastic benefits for years to come.

We suggest using a regular pillowcase before placing directly on the skin.  

To clean your pillow and add a little moisture to it, use a soft wet nail brush and gently brush both sides. Let air dry. In nine year I've only had to do this four times, so please don't overdo it or you could damage the material.

The ingredients on this item will not be listed due to it being a very old recipe from one of our ancestors.  This is one of his little secrets he wanted to keep to himself, but I happen to have his book (BOS) and I will carry on his wish as stated. Why such a big deal??? simply respect for my elders.
